We took Fen to her first competition, Texas Derby Days, sponsored by the Tejas Carriage Association and the Houston Area Carriage Association. We had a lot of fun with our friends and Fen did well... how well? You'll have to watch the video to find out!

HACA Luncheon July 2024: Sharing the Achenbach Style of Driving
Many thanks to the Houston Area Carriage Association for the invitation to speak to the Club about Achenbach driving and our experiences with it! We enjoyed the chance to share a meal with our carriage driving friends, to talk a bit about our past driving experiences, and to demonstrate the Achenbach driving technique using our rein machine! We hope everyone enjoyed the event as much as we did!

Cleaning Up After Hurricane Beryl, July 2024
We found ourselves in the eye of Hurricane Beryl early on the morning of July 8th. Like many in the Houston area, we are cleaning up from flooding, property damage, downed trees, and loss of power. Thankfully, everyone at the ranch is unhurt and healthy (including the four-legged residents)! We pray that all of you are well, too!
