Recently, at our weekly training session with Henry’s Home, Horse and Human Sanctuary, we were excited to see their efforts reach an important milestone! We started the session with ground driving for both of their horses, Sophie and Admiral, and then brought out the carriage to fit the shafts to one of their horses, Sophie. Sophie was very calm and relaxed throughout the whole process.
Then came the milestone! Paul test-drove Sophie and she was a rock star! Once Paul was satisfied with the fit of the harness and shafts, as well as Sophie’s performance, Krista even gave Sophie and the carriage a short test drive in the arena while Admiral looked on. Congratulations to Henry’s Home for this progress, and we are continuing to work with them to realize their goals!
